The old iconic former Las Vegas mansion of Liberace has been placed for sale. The house located at 4982 Shirley Street in Las Vegas, has been listed at $529,900. The house is over 14,000 square feet and has only 2 two bedrooms with 6.5 bathrooms.
Research shows Liberace purchased the home in 1974 from Edward Mann. In 1987 the house was transferred to the Liberace Revocable Trust and the next year the house was owned by the Liberace Foundation who sold the house to Vance and Jan Turner in 1989. The Turners sold it to Terrance Lee Dzvonick in 2006.
In February of 2010 records show JP Chase Morgan Bank foreclosed upon the property which leads us to the house being put up for sale this week. The debt on the property was listed on the trustee deed was $3.2 Million Dollars. So it looks like the bank took a bath and at its current price, for the right buyer who would be willing to invest to bring the former luxury home back up to spec, it looks like a great opportunity.
